Hayden and Célia's Web Site

A very special day for us, as you'll see later. Magic Kingdom is the most difficult park to get to. Once you've parked you take a trolley bus to the entrance and then catch either the monorail or boat to the actual park itself. We chose to take the boat, and this shot is of Disney's Grand Floridian resort hotel - their poshest.

As we were walking down Main Street USA we caught this trolley with dancers who got out and did a little dance for us. Funniest thing was one of the male dancers who looked so bored, but kept a false smile on his face throughout!

While Hayden went off to ride Space Mountain (yet another rollercoaster) Célia waited for one of the regular shows throughout the day of the crowning of Cinderella. While waiting she took a few shots of the castle - this one showing Timon and Puumba from the Lion King.

A fun little ride and one of our favourites. You ride around in a little pod, which you can turn from side to side in order to shoot the 'Zs' on both side. The objective: earn as many points as possible by shooting the 'Zs'. So much fun we went twice!

One of the highlights of the day, we FINALLY got to see Pooh and Tigger. It did involve queuing for a while, but definitely worth the wait! Here's Célia with her favourite - Pooh bear.

And here's Hayden with his favourite - Tigger. Hayden even took the trouble to bounce all the way up to him rather than walk, which made Tigger bounce too!

As we were walking to our very special treat we happened to find Timon and Rafiki from the Lion King.

And here's the highlight of the day - lunch with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet. Booked 3 months before, this is probably the only guaranteed way to get up close and personal with the characters, who walk around all the tables. The meal is buffet style, and surprisingly good. We definitely recommend this if you're a fan. It started pouring again as we were about to go in.

Pooh has officially been jumped.

This is officially the most traumatic ride on the planet. It may seem harmless enough - dolls dressed in national costumes from around the world, all singing 'It's a small world' in their local language, but you will not, repeat WILL NOT, be able to get that annoying song out of your head for the rest of your life!

Yay - it's the end! And they even remembered to say good-bye in Portuguese.

Found in Universal's CityWalk, this is one of the kitschest places you'll find, but the food is ok and the place entertaining. Highlights include stilt walkers who go around making balloon hats and animals, as well as a huge volcano which tops up a mammoth glass in the centre of the restaurant with Margarita mix.

This is a before shot of Hayden's starter - Volcano Nachos. Now, no one can blame him as the menu didn't state this would be great for sharing, but seriously - this would comfortably feed a family of 4!
